This one question has sparked debates that have lasted for years!  The key to good grits is avoid making it via the package directions. I use half and half as well as heavy cream for that creamy consistency. The recipe below shows how to take your grits from Blah to Bam!

Sticky Honey Hoisin Chicken

Sticky Honey Hoisin Chicken

You know, the best recipes in my opinion come from sheer boredom, and that’s exactly how this recipe came to be. It was a boring Monday night and I was doing my weekly pantry cleaning, when I came across a bottle of Hoisin Sauce. The last time I used this bottle was for my Chinese Fake-Out: Loaded Lo-Mein I did a few months back. Honey Lemon Dill Vinaigrette

Honey Lemon Dill Vinaigrette

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Manstagrammers event hosted by April of The Tipsy Housewife. In addition to meeting some awesome people, we got to make some great dishes and learn some cooking tricks! I along with fellow attendee Alex Jewell created a delicious mixed greens salad, but I didn’t quite know what kind of dressing to make. I just threw some ingredients together and hoped for the best, not thinking it was going to be an absolute hit! It was only right to make a recipe to share with everyone. This vinaigrette makes a great marinade in addition to a salad dressing! It only requires a few ingredients and can be made in 2 minutes!
